摘要
The effects of various compounds on the fruiting of Lentinus edodes were examined by using a peptone-glucose liquid media. L. edodes was incubated statically in a basal liquid medium at 25-degrees-C under illumination, but it could not produce any fruit bodies within 70 days after inoculation. When yeast extract were added, normal fruit bodies were produced in all flasks tested, after about 35 days of incubation without shifting to cooler temperatures. The additions of thiamine and ascorbic acid also were effective, but it took about 56 days to produce fruit bodies. Inorganic elements, such as Sn and Ni, and vanillin had no effect. Although fruit bodies could be produced at concentrations as small as 25 mg/l of yeast extract, the optimal concentration for the yield of fruit bodies was 2.5 g/l.
