摘要
FeTiO3 powder is prepared from aqueous solution (wet method). Magnetic properties of the sample are the same as those of FeTiO3 prepared by calcination. Dielectric properties of the powder are investigated from 4.2 K to room temperature. There are two dielectric relaxations in the low temperature region. One is observed near 52 K and the other at 118 K. The former one may be caused by electron hopping between Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions. The dielectric relaxation near 118 K seems to be arising from the interfacial polarization due to the heterogeneous structure of the oxides. Because of the large conductivity of FeTiO3 the dielectric constant is not measured above 200 K.
