摘要
The tensile and creep properties of oxygen free and oxygen saturated copper have been investigated in the temperature range 25 to 500 degree C. Oxygen increases the yield strength by solid solution hardening, and for coarse-grained copper, causes embrittlement particularly under creep conditions. Tensile and creep ductility are restored when oxygen is removed.
