ACCURATE SOLUTIONS TO THE SQUARE THERMALLY DRIVEN CAVITY AT HIGH RAYLEIGH NUMBER

Accurate solutions to the equations of natural convection in a square 2-D differentially heated cavity with adiabatic top and bottom walls are given for values of Ra up to 10(8). These solutions are obtained with a pseudo-spectral Chebyshev algorithm by increasing the spatial resolution up to a 128 x 128 polynomial expansion.
