摘要
Freedom from anomalies and the requirement of fermion masses leads to the quantization of the electric charge in the standard model. The result has been generalized here to derive expressions for the electric charge of the quarks as a function of Nc (the number of colours) for the first time. The usefulness of these quantities is emphasized. © 1990.
