New morphological mutants: 'rough eye', 'ruby eye', 'yellow', and 'white eye' were isolated and described in the Mediterranean fruit fly, Ceratitis capitata Wiedemann. They were all assigned to the fifth chromosome. Linkage relations and map distances among the new and the other available mutant loci were studied. The hitherto available mutant loci have the following linear arrangement: 'Curly', 'ruby eye', 'white eye', 'orange eye', 'yellow', 'rough eye', and 'white pupa'.
