摘要
This study verifies the perception of construction employees on the relationship between quality of work life (QWL) and occupational health and safety (OHS). For this, we use the model of quality of work life proposed by Walton (1973) and the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001. This study is qualitative with nature of research descriptive, furthermore, the research was conducted with literature and field study. Data were collected with employees in a building site of a construction company in the city of Fortaleza/CE, certified with OHSAS 18001. The research results suggest that the studied company follows quality life standards focused on health and worker safety.
