摘要
An N-machine power system with transfer conductances and nonuniform mechanical damping is considered, and the system transient stability analysis is carried out using the decomposition-aggregation method. The system mathematical model is derived and decomposed into (N-1)/3 seventh-order interconnected subsystems, each of them is decomposed into free subsystem and interconnections. A ten-machine power system is used as an illustrative example, and an asymptotic stability domain estimate is determined for the system transient stability analysis is carried out using the decomposition-aggregation method. The system decomposition is performed so that each subsystem includes four machines, instead of only two or three machines as for the pair-wise and triple-wise decomposition schemes, respectively.
