摘要
The effect of introducing a thin perfectly conductive baffle in a vertical channel filled with a nanofluid has been investigated using robin boundary conditions. The solutions are found using regular perturbation method valid for small values of perturbation parameter and using differential transform method valid for all values of perturbation parameter. Both conditions of equal and of different reference temperature of the external fluid are considered. A parametric study of the physical parameters is made, and a representative set of numerical results for the velocity, temperature and Nusselt number are presented graphically at different positions of the baffle. The salient features of the results are analyzed in detail. The solutions obtained by the differential transform method are compared with the solutions obtained by the perturbation method and good agreement is observed between the two methods for small values of the perturbation parameter.
