摘要：

This article presents an overview of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques of manual medicine (MM)/chirotherapy in the area of the sacroiliac joint. This overview is related to typical dysfunctions and pain syndromes according to the three schools of MM of the German Society of MM for physicians and physiotherapists. The authors distinguish among general, orienting, and specific diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to joints and muscles, although the whole variety of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques is not represented.
