S2-]S0 FLUORESCENCE IN TRANS-AZOBENZENE

摘要
Picosecond excitation of the 28 250 cm-1 overtone band in the 1(π,π*) manifold of trans-azobenzene yields an emission spectrum with a prominent S2 → S0 fluorescence band in addition to an S1 → S0 component from the 1(n, π*) manifold. The S2 → S0 fluorescence decay time at 420 nm is {precedes above almost equal to} 5 ps. © 1979.
