摘要
The formation of strong double layers in a plasma consisting of positive ions, negative ions, and electrons has been investigated in a triple-plasma device. When a strong double layer is present in a positive ion/electron plasma, the introduction of negative ions results in the formation of a second double layer which is separated from the first double layer by a region of quasineutral plasma. © 1990 American Institute of Physics.
