PHYSIOLOGICAL REGULATION OF LIGNINOLYTIC ACTIVITY IN HIGHER BASIDIUM FUNGI

摘要
The review presents data concerning ligninolytic activity of higher basidium fungi belonging to various systematic and ecological groups. Some properties of the main lignin-degrading enzymes, lignin peroxidase, Mn-dependent peroxidase, and laccase are considered. The ligninolytic system of basidiomycetes is shown to have unique peculiarities. Data found in literature and obtained by the author are analyzed which concern the regulatory role of carbon and nitrogen sources, manganese ions, and oxygen in the biosynthesis of ligninolytic enzymes of basidiomycetes.
