摘要
Injection of auxiliary fuels into blast furnaces is considered, with special attention given to the design of injection facilities for natural gas. Rig and blast furnace trials and calculations to determine the effects are described. New tuyere designs, in particular tuyeres with three gas inlets, have been developed on the basis of the results. Trials on a blast furnace of 1370 m3 volume using gas sampling showed that conditions and operating efficiency improve with the new injection equipment.
