DIFFRACTION DETECTOR OF ELECTRON-SPIN POLARIZATION

A diffraction analyzer of electron spin polarization is described that has an efficiency of approximately 4.10(-4), retains its operating parameters for less-than-or-equal-to 40 min, and does not have systematic errors. The analyzer employs one receiving device, which measures the flux intensity of electrons both elastically and inelastically reflected from a W(110) surface in the direction of zero diffraction reflection. The angle of incidence of the analyzed beam is 13-degrees. A module is created for processing of experimental data for input into a DVK-3 minicomputer that contains six 8-bit counters with a "Common Bus" interface.
