摘要
In this paper we define a sequence of uniaxial strain controlled cyclic loading which simulate shot peening effect on a volume element. Knowing the change of material properties under this type of loading and the shot peening parameters, we will be able to predict residual stresses induced by this treatment. Prediction is performed by a software using a simplified elasto-plastic method proposed by ZARKA and INGLEBERT (1) for cyclic loaded parts. The calculated residual stress profiles are compared to those evaluated by X-ray diffraction.
