摘要
Electro-chemical impedance spectroscopy was performed on cells discharged to various depths across 20, 5, and 1 k OMEGA resistors at room temperature. A strong dependence of the ohmic resistance upon discharge rate was observed and related to the increased polarization observed in these cells when they are discharged at high rates at room temperature. The origin of this increased resistance was determined to be the LiI electrolyte layer. A strong dependence of the morphology and conductivity of the LiI electrolyte layer upon its formation rate was found.
