摘要
The micellar degrees of dissociation, α, of the hydroxyfunctionalized quaternary ammonium bromides having the structures: [RN+ (CH3)2R1]Br- where R = C16H33, R1 = CH2CH2OH (1a) R = C16H33, R1 = CH2CH(CH3)OH (1b) R = C16H33, R1 = CH2CH(C2H5)OH (1c) R = C14H29CH(OH)CH2, R1 = CH3 (2) have been determined at 25°C by measurements of the added salt effects on their critical micelle concentration, ion selective potentiometry and electric conductivity. The α values steadily increase as the length of R1 increases in the surfactant molecule. The presence of the hydroxy group, i.e., its nature and position, does not introduce noticeable effects on the α values. © 1990.
