摘要：

The article deals with integration of information technologies in the process of teaching foreign languages. Special attention isgiven to advantages and disadvantages of distance language learning. The author points out thatelectronic resourcescan be used successfully in distance language learningwith proper instructional support. Teachers should realize their innovative potential that will help them to use new educational technologies more effectively. Professional and psychological qualities of teachers of foreign languages are of great importance.
