Discussion on several rules of technical code for building slope engineering

摘要
There are a few doubtful points in active Technical code for building slope engineering. This code claims itself could apply to the rock foundation pit, but many terms aim at building slope but not foundation pit; so we suggest that don't extend applicable range into the foundation pit; service lives of temporary slope are 2 years in this code, it is suggested to improve to 5 years for better meeting the engineering construction requirements now; some terminologies are not accurate and should be redefined; We suggest that adjust applicable slope height of this code and slope safety level because the old term couldn't meet the engineering construction requirements now; canceling estimate formula for slump area since it is little meaning and defective; extending applicable range of slope ratio method since the old term is too strict; canceling the design method that verify table of slope ratio since it is outdated; don't reduce anchor fixed length in anchor base test because this way will get higher limit bond strength and lead to dangerous engineering design; rewritting anchor acceptance test standard since the old term is not clear and difficult to apply, etc. These opinions refer to code revision.
