Biloma is an unusual complication of gallbladder surgery. The majority of the previously recorded cases had been the direct result of blunt trauma to the liver, with disruption of liver parenchyma, resulting in either intrahepatic biliary cysts or a perihepatic pseudocyst. This case report describes a patient who developed a biliary pseudocyst following cholecystectomy.
