摘要
The development of the global agenda. An analysis of the 2005 UNDP report. Firstly, the article briefly traces the history of the dynamics of development theories and their most recent contributions, indicating that the concept of development is heir to the European enlightenment idea of progress and that this idea has spread all over the pla-net. Secondly, the inclusion of the idea of development on the global agenda is also mentioned, with the United Nations assuming that this is a responsibility of the international community and thus creating specialised organisations to implement it. Finally, we explain the results of the latest United Nations Development Programme (UNPD) Report on the human development situation in severa1 countries, showing inequalities and gaps between States.
