摘要：

The paper foucusses on recent theoretical conceptions concerning the welfare-state. Reviewing the current concepts of the state - in Neo-Marxism, in Systems Theory, in comparative concepts as well as in Modernization Theory - the author deals with the question, which relevance they do have for political praxis. She shows, that in most of the referred ''State-Theories'' similarities to former ''Paradigmata'' are found and that the latter to decide on strategic choices for political options.
