Allergic contact dermatitis - A review of selected literature 2020/2021

The present review article summarizes selected publications from the period 2020 - 2021 which are thought to be of particular clinical interest to the readers. The selection does not claim to be complete. In contrast to classical reviews, no introductory comprehensive overview of the clinical picture is given. Instead the individual papers are presented with their major results and are commented from a practical perspective. Among other things, "highlights" from studies on contact allergens from the baseline series as well as from special patch test series, from contact allergies affecting particular anatomical sites and with particular clinical manifestations, and on aspects in occupational dermatology are presented.
