摘要
This is an applied sociological study to understand the approaches of female university students to family and marriage institutions in the context of gender role attitudes in the case of Selcuk University. One of the image matters of modernity in the process of Turkish modernization has been "women" as such. The social change experience brought about by modernization has caused changes in the perception of traditional image of women. The study which was applied to the university students who are concentrated around the 18-23 age interval, tried to explain how the change occurred in the "womennes" mentality of women who are living also as a family members, and are subject to social change.
