摘要
The market of the electric cars has been developing dynamically for the last couple of years. The reason of that is a huge technological development in lithium-ion batteries EV production, as well as a great scale potential of this market. In order to provide sustainable transportation, using electric vehicles, the ecological fuel is also needed - the energy from renewable sources, which will provide 100% energy for EV. This study proves that it is profitable to use electric car from a premium segment, at the same time investing in the renewable energy - photovoltaic. In comparison to the combustion engine car, provided that all the quality of driving and comfort conditions are comparable, EV turns out to be way cheaper in maintenance, given comparable purchase prices. Together with EV market development in next years, we will observe moving the EV profitability towards compact and mini cars segments.
