摘要
An account is given on the new advances in two-photon deep tissue microscopy, an important new area of biomedical microscopy. Both the basic principles of two-photon excitation and its application in deep tissue imaging are reviewed. Further, three important innovations in this area are described: simultaneous two-photon fluorescence and confocal reflected light microscopy, video-rate two-photon microscopy, and two-photon deep tissue fluorescence spectroscopy.
