摘要
Informed consent is a term based on the doctrine that "every individual has the right to know and to determine any medical intervention which is performed on her/his own body". Although many national and international regulations have been composed until today, misapplications are still encountered in medical practice because of lack of knowledge regarding legislations or inappropriate medical and legal approach to the issue. In this article, the problems related to informed consent - through surgical interventions in particular- are noted and suggestions are presented in detail.
