Achievements in the field of semiconductor technology have made it possible today to construct high-power decimeter-band television transmitter circuits based on transistors. A conversion to transistors considerably simplifies the design of television transmitters, improves their operational reliability and life, reduces power consumption and improves their performance characteristics [1]. This paper reviews results of the development of a broadband amplifier module (AM) with an output power of 180 W and a gain of better than 14 dB for Bands IV-V television sound transmitters.
