摘要
An extension of the systematic derivation described on a previous paper is presented for cubic and hexagonal close-packed structures, and for compounds of general formulae XmYn and AmXn (m, n ≤ 4), where X and Y stand for packing atoms, and A for smaller atoms occupying octahedral voids. The derivation method is based on structural stability conditions (distant distribution, equivalency, symmetry) and leads to most of the known structure types in the domain investigated. The derivation is carried out with simple rules and it can be condensed in a relatively short table. © 1969, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.
