摘要：

Atrial fibrillation is the most frequent cardiac arrythmia in cattle. It is reported to occur in adult dairy cows and is associated with gastrointestinal ( functionnal arrythmia) or cardiac (organic diseases of the heart) disorders. Electrocardiographic findings help to realise the diagnosis. Treatment with quinidine allows conversion to normal sinus rhythm. However, side effects are commonly observed.
