The densities of aqueous 2-butoxyethanol (BE); {xCH3(CH2)3O(CH2)2OH + (1-xH2O}, were measured at small increments in mole fraction x at the temperatures 288.15 K and 298.15 K, in the water-rich region: x<0.04. The excess partial molar volumes VEm(BE) and VEm(H2O) were determined by graphical differentiation. © 1993 Academic Press Ltd.
