摘要
Rat renal microsomes have an energy-dependent Ca pump activity. Diuretic compounds (3) inhibit this Ca pump in vitro. Characterization of furosemide inhibition shows that this agent is a reversible, non-competitive inhibitor of the renal microsome Ca pump. Furosemide, under similar conditions does not inhibit Na/K-ATPase activity in the renal microsome fraction. Furosemide may be useful to define function of the microsomal Ca pump in non-muscle cells.
