摘要
The wound dressings Actisorb (R) Silver 220 and Vliwaktiv (R) Ag possess a high in vitro endotoxin-binding capacity combined with a marked bactericidal activity against Enterococcus faecium (ATCC 6057), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442), Candida albicans (ATCC 10231), methicillin-resistent Staphylococcus aureus (epidemical strain north, MRSA) and vancomycin-resistent E. faecium (VRE). Both wound dressings may be beneficial in the treatment of infected wounds, particularly at colonization by Gram-negative bacteria.
