摘要
A decacyclic oligosaccharide was designed to dock into the minor groove of duplex DNA selectively at a TCCTXXAGGA sequence. Competition experiments with calicheamicin γ 1I revealed that the oligosaccharide inhibits DNA cleavage and exhibits high DNA binding affinity.
