摘要
In this research, the relationships among Young's moduli according to flexural and longitudinal vibrations, and longitudinal transmission of medium density fiberboard (MDF), particleboard, plywood, and solid wood were examined. The Young's moduli with a 3-ply model. From experimental results, the Young's moduli between in-plane flexural vibration and longitudinal vibration were almost the same, regardless of the testing materials. For MDF and particleboard, the Young's modulus of out of-plane flexural vibration and longitudinal transmission also were almost the same. With these results, it is possible that the Young's moduli of full-sized boards can be tested in nondestructive testing (NDT). In addition, according to the results of the MDF, particleboard, and plywood, it is possible that the relationship between dynamic Young's moduli in flexural and longitudinal vibrations can be expressed in the law of mixture.
