摘要
Nitrogen monoxide NO was oxidized in corona discharge in the presence of O2. The effects of gas temperature and of the amount of H20 and SO2, added on the discharge reaction were studied. The effect of NH3 added on NO decrease was also studied. The following results were obtained: (1) The amount of NO oxidation increases with the decrease of temperature,1 and is approximatedly given by exp(2800/T). Nitrogen oxide NO* is generated at high temperature. (2) Water vapour H2O increases the amount of NO oxidation and lowers the amount of NO2 generated. (3) For no addition of NH3, NO oxidation is independent of the concentration of SO2 contained. (4) In the case of the addition of NH2, the amount of the decrease of NO inprease in the presence of SO2, and the increases is greater for higher concentration of SOE and larger amount of NH3 added. However, the addition of NH3 is hardly effective over the equivalent to NO and S02. © 1979, The Chemical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
