摘要
In this study, ten different constant water temperatures (8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26 degrees C) were used in order to determine relationships on effects of water temperature on embryonic development of the red porgy (Pagrus pagrus) egg. Constant water temperatures between 14 and 22 degrees C were found to support successful embryonic development. According to regression analysis, a negative relationship between the rate of embryonic development and incubation temperature was observed. While embryonic development was completed within this range (14-22 degrees C), there was no cell division at water temperatures of 8 and 26 degrees C. Total mortalities were observed at 8 blastomer stage in 10 degrees C at 5:45 h after fertilisation. Also, in middle gastrula stage at 12 degrees C, it was determined 42:45 h after fertilisation and 4 h in early blastula stage at temperature of 24 degrees C after fertilisation.
