TEMPORAL VARIABILITY OF ATMOSPHERIC AEROSOL OPTICAL DEPTH IN DIFFERENT CLIMATIC REGIONS

摘要
Temporal and spatial variability of atmospheric aerosol optical depth tau(a, lambda0) at lambda = 550 nm for european territory of former USSR is investigated. Background latitude values tau(a, lambda0) were obtained and the influence of large industrial centers on atmospheric optical depth is estimated. The influence of industrial factors on atmospheric transparency was analyzed. The significant trends of tau(a, lambda0) for industrial regions were evaluated.
