摘要
The problem of longitudinal strength of a ship in a floating dock has been solved by representing the ship and the dock by two elastically connected beams. The finite element method was employed. The developed computer program SHIP-DOCK was testified on a simple prismatic system for which the analytical solution had been available. For illustration, strength analysis of a Bulk Carrier in the floating dock located in Shipyard ''Viktor Lenac'' at Rijeka has been solved. The obtained results were compared with those ones obtained by a three-dimensional analysis.
