摘要
Today modern sewage treatment plants for industrial and municipal wastewater are no longer imaginable without effective methods of sewage sludge treatment. In this connection processes of mechanical solid/liquid-separation play an important role. Possibilities of mechanical dewatering of sewage sludges, comprising conditioning, thickening, filtration and pressing process, which can be combined in various ways according to the planned waste disposal technology, are presented. Finally, the costs of sewage sludge dewatering are discussed.
