RECRYSTALLIZATION OF ALPHA-BI2SR2CACU2OX STUDIED USING SMALL-ANGLE NEUTRON-SCATTERING

摘要
The kinetic recrystallisation of amorphous Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox has been monitored using small angle neutron scattering and neutron powder diffraction. Crystallisation is first evident at 485-degrees-C with the appearance of precipitates approximately 1550 angstrom in extent. Formation of an infinite crystalline cluster with the structure of the n = 1 phase, does not occur until 585-degrees-C.
