摘要
Using an equation of state for the nuclear matter parameterized by the nucleon number density n and applying a method developed by Rhoades and Ruffini, we calculate the maximum mass of a neutron star to be no larger than four solar masses. The meaning and reliability of this result are discussed. © 1990.
