摘要
The paper investigates some anti-plane strain deformation problems concerned with the extension of cracks lying along a circular interface separating two materials of different shear moduli. Models of a single crack and also two equivalent cracks are examined, while particular attention is given to the special cases that arise when either the two materials are identical or one is rigid. The problems are studied using the theory of continuous distributions of dislocations and also by means of standard potential theory techniques, the crack extension criteria being derived by applying classic thermodynamic principles. © 1969.
