摘要
The purpose of this paper is to report a case of a lobular capillary hemangioma potentially induced by high levels of testosterone in a 15-year-old male patient. The patient presented an asymptomatic reddish nodule of one cm in diameter, pedunculated on the upper labial mucosa. He had grown 10 cm in height within a period of six months, with laboratory tests revealing high levels of testosterone. Surgical excision of the lesion and histolopathological analysis were performed, which was compatible with lobular capillary hemangioma. A significant recurrent lesion was observed within 30 days from the surgery date, in which a second surgical excisional procedure was performed. No additional recurrences were observed in the following six years. This case report combines clinical and laboratory information on the lobular capillary hemangioma, discussing its potential association with testosterone levels.
