Major hemorrhage into pancreatic pseudocysts occurs infrequently. Three patients are presented illustrating individual clinical and pathologic patterns, yet all survived this catastrophe. Prompt surgery is necessary if rupture is suspected or if anemia and shock supervene in a patient known or suspected of having a pancreatic pseudocyst. © 1968.
