摘要
The Modern State is sustained by the existentence of a triangular relationship between force, power, and law; understood to be a dynamic relationship in the process of transformation of power into law, and law into a support for power. This dynamic relationship is part of juridic logic, and implies the triangular co-dependency between force, power and law. That is to say that the State exercises the monopoly of force; and that force is regulated in turn by the law. This set of norms empowers the ability to exercise power; manifested through legal authority and public force. Based on the above, this paper, attempts to create a theoretical structure for this triangular relationship in the modern state which implies the concepts of force, power and law, through the commentaries that political philosophy gives to these concepts. Finally, the triangular imbalance not only presents itself as the sides of the imaginary equilateral triangles of the state, but also in the bi-directional movement of each one of its mechanisms.
