摘要:
Calcium, being one of the main secondary mediators in metabolic regulation of living cells, promotes changes in the concentration of free ions (Ca2+) in cytosol. Mechanisms supporting the low concentration of Ca2+ in cytosol are considered in detail. Experimental data confirming the functioning of the main mechanisms of Ca2+ transport via membranes of plant cells are presented. Vacuoles and chloroplasts are supplementary systems contributing to the Ca2+ balance in the cytoplasm of plant cells.
