摘要
5H-Dibenz[c,e]azepines substituted with a methoxy (1) or methylthio group (10) at the 7-position have been synthesized from 6,7-dihydro-5H-dibenz[c,e]azepin-5-one (5) by regioselective O- or S-alkylation with methyl trifluoromethansulfonate and subsequent NH-deprotonation. According to the spectroscopic properties the semicyclic 7-membered alkyl imidates exist exclusively in the benzenoid 5H structure.
