摘要
Laser resonator schemes are suggested which provide for the highly efficient stimulated emission of the linearly polarized radiation which is homogeneous over the cross section under the strong induced thermal birefringence in the active element. The stimulated emission of radiation monopulses with the energy of 240 mJ has been obtained in the YAG:Nd laser with the efficiency of 1.4% and the repetition rate up to 100 Hz.
